This is such a cute palette!! I don’t know how practical it is to carry a big brick of 5 lip glosses in your purse, but I don’t care.  Like all Too Faced products, the packaging is adorable – a sleek black case with a quilted design on the cover and a huge mirror perfect for touch-ups.  These glosses smell and taste yummy too, just like candy.

Sadly, I’m pretty sure this product is discontinued, but that means you can get it for less!  At least I did – $12, but I have seen it priced up to $24, so shop around.  On another practical note: I prefer lip glossed with some sort of applicator just so I don’t have to stick my finger in the gloss (or bring a lip brush with me).  Also, the different glosses aren’t separated by anything so I’m guessing one day this lip palette will look like a swirled pink mess.

But, all in all it’s definitely a very cute product that’s worth checking out if you can still find it!

Pigmentation: These are very pigmented, very shimmery lip glosses.  If shimmery lips aren’t your thing, then I don’t recommend these glosses.

Shades: There isn’t a whole lot of variety in terms of shades.  As you can see in the photo above, they only offer five pinks and one red.

Formula: The formula is pretty thick, but not too thick or sticky.  They also have a really sweet scent.

Price: All the Carlo Di Roma products are very affordable. I believe these glosses were around $4 each.

Availability: Ok, I found these at my local drugstore a few months ago.  But now, the stock has been removed from the shelves.  Carlo Di Roma still has they’re PURE line available here, but not these products.  Their official website has been under construction for a long time now, and their US based site is up and running, but these particular gloss aren’t on it. So, they could be discontinued.  In any case, they are awesome lip glosses so I really recommend them if you can get your hands on them!

So I’m still on a quest to find a mascara as good as Maybelline’s The Colossal.  I’m so close to just buying it again!  But I like trying new things and since the waterproof Lash Blast didn’t work out, I thought I would try Lash Blast Luxe… and there was a 40% off sale at Shopper’s Drug Mart so I got a few other products too!

Also, Wal-Mart had a 40% off Revlon products a few days later…

Initial thoughts: I haven’t tried the mascara yet, but I know I’ll love it because it’s just like regular Lash Blast but with bits of shimmer (“black platinum” has silver shimmer).  The eyeshadow trio is really pretty, I just wanted to pick up a nice neutral palette for everyday wear so I think this will work well.  The photo above does nothing for the Annabelle gloss, it is gorgeous! This was a total impulse buy, because I was just so taken with the color. It’s a light champagne shade and it’s very shimmery. Beautiful!!  Lastly, I caved and bought the Rimmel lipstick because it seems everyone loves this “airy fairy” shade. I thought it was going to be a much more neutral shade, but it’s more of a light mauve-y pink.  Very pretty, and I like the slight cinnamon scent too!

I love the matte bronzer; it’s really hard to find a matte bronzer in the drugstore, so this is a really great find.  I use it for contouring.  The nail polish is obviously gorgeous!!  A brilliant rich red color with red sparkles.  Cherries in the Glow is a really pretty berry-bordering on red-shade, I really love Revlon’s Super Lustrous glosses.  Lastly, the matte lipstick is amazing.  It’s incredibly pigmented and the truest red shade of lipstick I’ve ever seen.

Note: I started this look trying to do a neutral eye with slightly winged liner, but as I was applying the liner my hand slipped and drew a huge wing instead of a little one.  So, instead of washing it off, I decided to just go with it and smoked out the look following the shape of the liner.  My point: makeup mistakes can always be fixed!
